How to play HopScotch?
HopScotch is a game that is played by Throwing a marker, such as a STONE or a beanbag, onto a pattern of Squares that are drawn on the ground. The object of the game is to hop over the Squares, without stepPing on them, and reach the end without making a mistake.
1. Draw a HopScotch board on the ground with chalk. The board should have at least 8 Squares, but you can make it as large as you like.
2. Choose a marker, such as a STONE or a beanbag.
3. Stand at the starting Line and toss the marker onto Square 1.
4. Hop over the marker and land on Square 2 with one foot.
5. Hop over Square 3 and land on Square 4 with both feet.
6. Hop over Square 5 and land on Square 6 with one foot.
7. Hop over Square 7 and land on Square 8 with both feet.
8. Turn around and hop back over the Squares, starting with Square 8, and ending with Square 1.
9. Pick Up the marker and repeat the pattern, starting with Square 2 and ending with Square 8.
10. Continue hopPing and picking Up the marker until you reach the end of the board.
11. The first person to reach the end without making a mistake is the winner!
