1. Gather the necessary equipment. You will need a full set of pool balls, a pool cue, and chalk.
2. Place the balls on the table. Place the cue ball on the head spot (the white Dot in the center of the table). Place the remaining balls in a triAngle shape at the foot of the table.
3. Determine who will break. This can be done by flipPing a coin or by having the players shoot a ball from behind the head stRing. The player who pockets a ball first will break.
4. Break the rack. The player who breaks must hit the cue ball from behind the head stRing and must pocket at least one ball. If the player fails to pocket a ball, the Turn goes to the other player.
5. Take Turns shooting. The player who breaks will continue shooting until he fails to pocket a ball. The other player will then take his Turn.
6. Sink all the balls. The Goal of the game is to sink all of the balls in numerical order, from one to eight. The player who sinks the eight ball last will win the game.
7. Call your Shots. Before each Shot, the player must call the ball he is AIMing for and the pocket he plans to sink it in. If the Shot is successful, the player can continue shooting. If the Shot is unsuccessful, the Turn goes to the other player.
8. Win the game. The player who pockets the eight ball last will win the game.
