How to play Rescue the kangaroo?
1. Begin by gatheRing materials. You will need a large flat surface, such as a table or the floor, a die, and some small objects such as buttons or coins.
2. Place the small objects in a Line in the middle of the flat surface. This Line is the “river”.
3. Choose one player to be the “Kangaroo”. The Kangaroo stands at one end of the river.
4. The other players take Turns Rolling the die. the number rolled is the number of spaces the Kangaroo can move.
5. The Kangaroo can Move Forward, backward, or sideways, but must stay on the river.
6. The Goal is for the Kangaroo to reach the other side of the river without falling off.
7. If the Kangaroo falls off the river, the player who rolled the die must Rescue the kangaroo by placing it back on the river.
8. The first player to get the Kangaroo safely to the other side of the river is the winner.
