2. Grease a cUpcake pan with butter or cooking spray.
3. In a large bowl, mix together 1 1/2 cUps of all-purpose FLOUr, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking Powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 cUp of granulated sugar.
4. In a separate bowl, mix together 1/2 cUp of sofTened butter, 2 egGS, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1/2 cUp of milk.
5. GraDually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirRing until everything is combined.
6. Divide the batter evenly among the cUpcake cUps.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cUpcake comes out clean.
8. Let the cUpcakes cool completely before adding any decorations.
9. To make the frosting, beat 1/2 cUp of sofTened butter, 2 cUps of Powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 2-3 tablespoons of milk until light and fluffy.
10. Add food coloRing to the frosting and mix until the desired color is achieved.
11. Spread the frosting over the cooled cUpcakes and decorate with sprinkles, if desired.
