How to play Light Up?

Objective:

The objective of Light Up is to light Up all the Squares on the board by placing a number of light bulbs in the appropriate Squares.

SetUp:

1. Place the game board on a flat surface.

2. Place the light bulbs in the starting Squares as indicated by the game board.

3. Each player takes Turns placing one light bulb at a time on the game board.

Gameplay:

1. The player who goes first must place a light bulb in one of the four starting Squares.

2. The next player must place a light bulb in one of the four Squares adjacent to the first light bulb.

3. The third player must place a light bulb in one of the four Squares adjacent to the second light bulb.

4. This pattern continues until all the Squares on the game board have been lit Up.

5. If a player is unable to place a light bulb on the board, they must pass their Turn.

6. The first player to light Up all the Squares on the board is the winner.

Strategy:

1. Plan ahead and try to anticipate your opponents’ moves.

2. Try to create chains of light bulbs that will be DIFFicult for your opponents to break.

3. Place light bulbs in strategic locations that will bLock your opponents from lighting Up certain Squares.

4. Try to create a Path of light bulbs that will lead to the end of the game quickly.
