How to play Steal The Haunted Treasure?

Objective:

The objective of Steal The Haunted Treasure is to be the first player to collect three of the Five treasures and Escape the Haunted Mansion.

SetUp:

Each player chooses a character and takes their corresponding character card and figure. Place the character Figures on the starting spaces on the game board. Place the Five treasure cards face Up in the center of the game board.

Gameplay:

On each Turn, the active player rolls the die and moves their character figure the corresponding number of spaces. If the player lands on a space occUpied by another character, the two players must Battle for the treasure.

The active player reads out their character’s Battle cry and the other player must respond with their own Battle cry. The player with the better Battle cry wins the Battle and takes the treasure.

If the active player lands on an empty space, they must draw a card from the deck. If the card is a treasure, they take it and place it on their character card. If the card is not a treasure, they must discard it.

The game ends when one player has collected three treasures and reached the EXIT space. That player is the winner.

Variations:

THere are several variations of Steal The Haunted Treasure that can be played.

• In the “Ghostly Game” variation, each player must Battle a ghost in order to take a treasure. The ghost is represented by a card and the players must Battle each other for the treasure.

• In the “Haunted House” variation, each player must Battle a monster or ghost in order to take a treasure. The Monsters and ghosts are represented by cards and the players must Battle each other for the treasure.

• In the “Haunted Mansion” variation, each player must Battle a monster or ghost in order to take a treasure. The Monsters and ghosts are represented by Figures and the players must Battle each other for the treasure.
