1. Start by positioning yourself on the bike in a comfortable, Balanced position. Make sure your feet are firmly planted on the ground and your hands are firmly gripPing the handlebars.
2. Begin to slowly shift your weight to the rear of the bike and apply a light amount of pressure to the rear brake.
3. As you start to Slide, slowly increase the amount of pressure you are applying to the rear brake. This will help you maintain Control of the Slide.
4. As you continue to Slide, use your body weight to help Control the Slide. Lean into the Slide and use your feet to help guide the bike.
5. Once you have reached the end of the Slide, slowly release the brakes and let the bike come to a stop.
6. Repeat the process until you have mastered the technique.
