Shred and CRush is a fun, fast-paced card game for two players. It is easy to learn and can be played with a standard deck of playing cards.
Objective: The objective of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all of your cards.
SetUp: Each player is dealt 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table, face down.
Gameplay: The player to the left of the dealer goes first. On your Turn, you must select a card from your hand and place it face-Up on the table. The other player then has the option to either “shred” or “cRush” the card.
If the other player “shreds” the card, they must take the card and add it to their hand.
If the other player “cRushes” the card, they must discard it from the game.
After a card has been played, the player who played it must draw a card from the center deck.
Once a player has no cards left in their hand, the game is over and that player is the winner.
Variations: If you want to play a longer game, you can add more cards to each player’s hand or increase the number of cards in the center deck.
You can also add a rule that if a player “shreds” a card, they must also discard one of their own cards.
You can also choose to play with jokers, which act as wild cards and can be used to represent any card in the deck.
