How to play Riverboat Sailing?

Riverboat Sailing is a fun and easy game for two or more players. It can be played with any type of playing cards, but a deck of regular playing cards works best.

Objective:
The objective of Riverboat Sailing is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards.

SetUp:
Each player is dealt seven cards, face down. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table and form the “river”. The player to the left of the dealer goes first.

Gameplay:
On each Turn, the player must draw one card from the river and then discard one card from their hand. The discarded card must be the same suit as the card that was drawn from the river. If the player cannot discard a card, they must draw again until they can find a suitable card to discard.

Once a player has discarded all of their cards, the game is over and that player is the winner.

Variations:
THere are several variations of Riverboat Sailing that can be played. Some variations include:

• Each player is dealt Five cards instead of seven.
• The player must draw two cards from the river and discard two cards from their hand.
• The player must draw three cards from the river and discard three cards from their hand.
• The player must draw four cards from the river and discard four cards from their hand.

These variations can make the game more DIFFicult and exciting.
