How to play Rails and Stations?
Rails and Stations is a two-player strategy game that can be played with a standard deck of playing cards. The Goal of the game is to be the first player to form a continuous Line of cards from one end of the board to the other.
1. Set Up: Each player is dealt Five cards. Place the remaining cards in a pile in the middle of the playing area. Place two “station” cards at each end of the board.
2. Play: On each Turn, a player can either draw a card from the pile or play a card from their hand. If they play a card, they must place it next to a station card, either to the left or the right. The card must match the suit of the station card.
3. Connecting Rails: If two cards of the same suit are placed next to each other, the player can Connect them with a “rail” card. The rail card must match the suit of the two cards it Connects.
4. Winning: The first player to form a continuous Line of cards from one end of the board to the other is the winner.
