How to play Tangled Gardens?

TAngled Gardens is a two-player card game that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards.

Objective: The objective of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in their hand.

SetUp:
1. Each player is dealt seven cards.
2. The remaining cards are placed in the middle of the table, face down. This is the draw pile.

Gameplay:
1. The player to the left of the dealer starts by playing a card from their hand.
2. The next player must then play a card that is either one rank higher or one rank lower than the card previously played. For example, if a 5 is played, the next player can play a 4 or a 6.
3. If a player cannot play a card, they must draw one card from the draw pile.
4. The player continues playing until they can no longer make a valid move.
5. Play then passes to the next player.
6. The game ends when one player has no cards left in their hand.

ScoRing:
1. The player who gets rid of all their cards first is the winner.
2. The loser must then add Up the value of the cards left in their hand. This is the loser's score.
3. The winner subtracts the loser's score from their own score. The DIFFerence is the winner's score.

Winning:
The player with the highest score at the end of the game is the winner.
