1. Place the pieces of the abacus on a flat surface.
2. Place the pieces in a 3D arrangement, with the bottom row of beads closest to you.
3. Count the beads in each row. The bottom row should have Five beads, the middle row should have four beads, and The Top row should have three beads.
4. Move the beads Up and down to represent Numbers. To represent a number, move the bead in that row Up or down to the number you want to represent. For example, if you want to represent the numberFive, move the bottom row bead UpFive times.
5. Add and subtract Numbers by moving the beads Up and down. To add two Numbers, move the beads Up on each row to represent the two Numbers you want to add. Then, move the bead in The Top row Up or down to the sum of the two Numbers. To subtract two Numbers, move the beads Up on each row to represent the two Numbers you want to subtract. Then, move the bead in The Top row Up or down to the DIFFerence of the two Numbers.
6. Practice counting and adding and subtracting Numbers using the abacus.
Take abacus and drag the balls to add the same column! Collect a column of the same color and merge it. Try to get rid of all the abacus and pass all the levels!
