How to play Slips?

Slips is a card game that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The Goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards.

Objective

The objective of Slips is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards.

SetUp

Each player is dealt seven cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center of the table.

Gameplay

The player to the left of the dealer starts by playing a card from their hand. The card must be the same suit as the card on The Top of the pile in the center of the table. If the player does not have a card of the same suit, they must draw from the pile in the center of the table until they draw a card of the same suit. The player then places the card on the pile and the Turn passes to the next player.

If a player has no cards in their hand, they must draw from the pile in the center of the table until they draw a card of the same suit as the card on The Top of the pile.

The game ends when one player has no cards left in their hand.

ScoRing

The player who gets rid of all of their cards first is the winner.
