Beltz is a card game for two to four players. It is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards.
Objective: The objective of Beltz is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards.
SetUp: 1. Shuffle the deck and deal out all of the cards evenly among the players. 2. Place the remaining cards face down in the middle of the table. This is the draw pile.
Gameplay: 1. The player to the left of the dealer goes first. 2. On their Turn, a player must draw one card from the draw pile and then discard one card to the discard pile. 3. The discard pile is placed next to the draw pile. 4. The player must discard a card that is either the same rank (number) or the same suit (color) as the card on top of the discard pile. 5. If a player is unable to do this, they must draw a card from the draw pile until they can discard one. 6. When a player has no cards left in their hand, they have won the game.
ScoRing: At the end of the game, each player counts the number of cards left in their hand. The player with the fewest cards in their hand is the winner and scores ZeroPoints. All other players score one Point for each card left in their hand.
