1. Gather four players and a standard deck of 52 playing cards.
2. Determine the dealer by having each player draw a card from the deck; the player with the highest card becomes the dealer.
3. The dealer shuffles the deck and deals out all 52 cards, one at a time, in a cLockwise direction, starting with the player to the left. Each player should end Up with 13 cards.
4. The player to the left of the dealer bids first. Bidding is used to determine the number of Tricks the team will try to win. The bidding continues in a cLockwise direction until all four players have bid.
5. The player to the left of the dealer leads the first trick. Each player must Follow suit (play the same suit as the lead card) if they can. If they cannot Follow suit, they can play any card. The highest card of the lead suit wins the trick.
6. The winner of the trick leads the next trick. This continues until all 13 Tricks have been played.
7. At the end of the hand, the team that bid the most Tricks and won at least that many Tricks scores Points. The team that did not make their bid scores no Points.
8. The game is over when one team reaches a predetermined score, usually 100Points. The team with the highest score wins.
