1. White moves first. White can move any piece, except the king, to any legal Square on the board.
2. Black then moves any piece, except the king, to any legal Square on the board.
3. White then moves any piece, except the king, to any legal Square on the board.
4. Black then moves any piece, except the king, to any legal Square on the board.
5. This pattern of alternating moves continues until the game is over.
6. When making a move, a player must move a piece to a Square wHere it can capture an opposing piece, or move it to an empty Square.
7. If a player moves a piece to a Square wHere it can capture an opposing piece, the opposing piece must be removed from the board and is considered captured.
8. If a player moves a piece to a Square wHere it cannot capture an opposing piece, then the Turn passes to the other player.
9. The game is won when one player checkmates the other player's king. This happens when the king is under Attack and cannot move to a safe Square.
Defeat the Red King by strategically moving your pieces to get to the Red King's location. There are 24 challenging levels in this game where you'll sometimes need to slide the gameboard halves or use the gravity switcher squares. No time limit in this game so you can take your time and if you get stuck on a level you can always click the Video button on the Main Menu to see the walkthrough video.You don't need to know how to play chess as the chess pieces in this game will display the squares they can move to when they are clicked. In fact this can be a good introduction as to how chess pieces move!
