How to play 3D Chess?
1. Set Up the board: Place the board between the two players. Each player should have a white side and a black side. Place the rooks in the corner Squares, Knights next to the rooks, bishops next to the Knights, the queen on her own color, and the king on the remaining Square of the same color.
2. Determine who goes first: The player with the white pieces goes first.
3. Move pieces: Each player can move one piece at a time. The pieces move according to their normal Chess rules, but with the addition of the 3D dimension. For example, the rook can move any number of Squares in a straight Line along its rank, file, or level. The knight can move in an L-shape, either Up and over one Square in the same level, or Up and over two Squares in DIFFerent levels.
4. Capture pieces: To capture an opponent’s piece, move one of your pieces to the same level as the opponent’s piece.
5. Win the game: The game is won when one player checkmates the other’s king.
