1. Set Up the board: Each player should have 15 Checkers, two Dice and a doubling cube. The Checkers should be arranged in four rows with two on the 24 Point, Five on the 13 Point, three on the 8 Point and Five on the 6 Point.
2. Take Turns Rolling the Dice: The player who rolls the highest number goes first. That player then rolls both Dice and moves his Checkers according to the Numbers rolled.
3. Move your Checkers: You can move your Checkers in two DIFFerent ways. The first is to move a single checker the exact number of Points shown on the Dice. The second is to move two or more Checkers the combined number of Points shown on the Dice. For example, if you roll a 5 and a 2, you can move one checker Five spaces and another two spaces, or move one checker seven spaces.
4. Bear off your Checkers: When all of your Checkers are in your home board, you can start beaRing them off. To do this, you must roll a number that corresponds to the Point on which a checker is located. For example, if you have a checker on the 5 Point, you must roll a 5 to bear it off. The first player to bear off all of their Checkers wins the game.
5. Use the doubling cube: If either player believes that they can win the game, they can offer to double the stakes by using the doubling cube. The opponent can either accept the double or resign the game. If the opponent accepts, The Cube is Turned to the next higher number and the stakes are doubled. This can be done multiple times duRing the game.
