How to play Reddy?

Reddy is a card game for two or more players. The game is played with a standard 52-card deck.

Objective

The objective of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards.

SetUp

To begin the game, each player is dealt seven cards. The remaining cards are placed in a pile in the center of the table, face down.

Gameplay

The player to the left of the dealer goes first. On their Turn, they draw one card from the pile in the center of the table. Then, they can either play a card from their hand or pass. If they play a card, it must match the suit or rank of the card that is currently on top of the pile. For example, if the card on top of the pile is a 5 of Hearts, the player must play either a 5 of any suit or a Heart of any rank. If they pass, they must discard a card from their hand.

If a player cannot or chooses not to play a card, they must draw a card from the pile. If they cannot or choose not to play that card, they must pass and discard a card from their hand.

If a player has Only one card left in their hand, they must announce “Reddy” before playing their last card. If they forget to do this, they must draw two cards from the pile.

End of the Game

The game ends when one player has no cards left in their hand. That player is the winner.
