How to play Candy Cake?

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease and FLOUr a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan.

2. In a medium bowl, cream together 1 cUp (225 g) of sofTened butter and 1 cUp (200 g) of white sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in 2 egGS, one at a time, until fully incorporated.

4. In a separate bowl, sift together 2 cUps (250 g) of all-purpose FLOUr, 1 teaspoon (5 g) of baking Powder, and 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 g) of salt.

5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture and mix until just combined.

6. Stir in 1 cUp (240 ml) of whole milk and 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of vanilla extract.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.

8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before Turning out onto a cooling rack.

10. To make the candy topPing, melt 1 cUp (180 g) of candy-coated chocolates in a double boiler or in the microWave.

11. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over The Top of the cake.

12. Sprinkle 1/2 cUp (50 g) of chopped Nuts, 1/3 cUp (50 g) of Mini marshmallows, and 1/3 cUp (50 g) of sprinkles over The Top of the cake.

13. Allow the candy topPing to set before serving. Enjoy!
