How to play Classic Klondike Solitaire?
1. Set Up the game: Deal out all of the cards into seven piles. The first pile should have one card, the second pile should have two cards, and so on until the seventh pile has seven cards. The remaining cards should be placed face down in the center of the table. This is the draw pile.
2. Object of the game: The Goal of Klondike Solitaire is to move all of the cards from the tableau to the four foundation piles. The foundation piles are located in the Upper right corner of the game screen and should be built Up in Ascending order from Ace to King.
3. Playing the game: Cards in the tableau can be moved around to create SEQUENCES in descending order and alternating Colors. For example, a red 6 can be moved on top of a black 7. Empty spaces in the tableau can be filled with any card. Cards from the draw pile can be placed on the tableau or on the foundation piles.
4. Winning the game: The game is won when all of the cards have been moved to the foundation piles.
