1. Set Up the Game: Place the checkerboard on a flat surface and arrange the pieces on the board. The checkerboard should have four rows of eight Squares, with alternating Colors. Place two pieces on each of the dark Squares in the second and third rows from the bottom.
2. Determine the Player: Decide who will be playing black and who will be playing white. The player with The Black pieces will move first.
3. Move the Pieces: On each Turn, the player must move one of their pieces. Pieces can Only move diagonally, one Square at a time. If a piece lands on a Square occUpied by an opponent’s piece, the opponent’s piece is removed from the board.
4. Capture Pieces: When a piece is moved to a Square occUpied by an opponent’s piece, the opponent’s piece is captured and removed from the board.
5. Win the Game: The game is won when a player captures all of their opponent’s pieces or bLocks their opponent’s pieces so they cannot move.
