Agent Smith is a two-player game that requires a standard deck of 52 cards. To begin, each player is dealt 7 cards face-down. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table, forming a draw pile.
The objective of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all their cards.
On their Turn, each player must draw a card from the draw pile and then discard a card from their hand. After discarding, they must then use the card they just discarded to build or capture a set or sequence of cards.
A set is a groUp of three or four cards of the same rank (e.g. three KinGS or four Fives). A sequence is a groUp of three or more cards in consecutive order (e.g. 6, 7, 8 of any suit).
When building or captuRing sets or SEQUENCES, players can either use cards from their own hand or cards already on the table. If a player builds a set or sequence, they must place the cards face-Up on the table.
Once a set or sequence has been built, it can be captured by any player. To capture a set or sequence, a player must use a card from their hand that matches either the rank or the suit of the set or sequence. The captured cards are then placed in the player's discard pile.
The game ends when one player has no cards left in their hand. The other player is the winner.
