1. Choose one player to be the dealer. The dealer will shuffle and deal the cards.
2. Each player is dealt Five cards. The remaining cards are placed face down in the center of the playing area to form the draw pile.
3. The dealer then flips over The Top card of the draw pile and places it face Up in the center of the playing area. This card is known as the “danger card.”
4. The player to the left of the dealer goes first. They must either draw a card from the draw pile or take the danger card.
5. The player can then play any card from their hand that matches either the suit or the value of the card in the middle. For example, if the danger card is a 5 of Hearts, the player can play either a 5 of any suit or a heart of any value.
6. The player who plays the highest card of the same suit as the danger card takes all the cards in the middle and adds them to their hand.
7. Play passes to the left and the next player must draw a card or take the danger card.
8. The game continues until one player has all the cards. That player is the winner.
