How to play Particolo?

Particolo is an abstract strategy game for two players. The game is played on a 5x5 board with 25 Squares. Each player has an equal number of pieces, usually 5, and the object of the game is to be the first player to get all of their pieces on the board.

To begin the game, each player places their pieces on their side of the board. The players then take Turns moving one of their pieces, either diagonally or orthogonally, one space at a time. Pieces may not Jump over other pieces or move onto a Square occUpied by another piece.

The first player to get all of their pieces on the board wins the game. If neither player can make a move, the game is a draw.
