How to play High Road?

1. Choose a dealer. The dealer should shuffle a standard deck of 52 playing cards and deal out 5 cards to each player.

2. The dealer then flips over The Top card of the deck and places it face Up in the middle of the table. This card is the start of the discard pile.

3. The player to the left of the dealer begins the game by either picking Up the card from the discard pile or drawing a card from the deck.

4. The player then discards one card from their hand, face Up on the discard pile.

5. Play continues cLockwise around the table. On each Turn, a player must either draw a card from the deck or pick Up the card from the discard pile.

6. The Goal of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all of their cards.

7. When a player has Only one card left, they must declare “High Road!” before discarding it.

8. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the game.
