How to play Vampires and Garlic?

Objective:

The objective of the game is to be the last player standing.

SetUp:

1. Each player will need a deck of cards.

2. Shuffle the deck and deal out Five cards to each player.

3. Place the remaining cards in the center of the table. This is the draw pile.

4. Place one garlic card in the center of the table. This is the garlic pile.

Gameplay:

1. The player to the left of the dealer goes first.

2. On their Turn, a player can either draw one card from the draw pile or take the garlic card from the garlic pile.

3. If a player draws a Vampire card, they must discard it immediately.

4. If a player draws a garlic card, they must keep it in their hand.

5. The player can then choose to play one card from their hand. If they play a garlic card, they may place it in the garlic pile.

6. If the player plays a Vampire card, they must choose another player to “Attack”. The Attacked player must then discard one card from their hand. If they cannot discard a Vampire card, they must discard one garlic card.

7. Play continues in a cLockwise direction.

8. The game ends when one player has no cards left in their hand. That player is the winner.
