Objective: The objective of the game Thirty One is to be the first player to reach a score of 31 Points.
SetUp: Each player is dealt three cards from a standard deck of 52 cards. The remaining cards are placed in the center of the table, forming the draw pile.
Gameplay: The player to the left of the dealer starts the game. On their Turn, they draw one card from the draw pile and then discard one card to the discard pile. Play continues in a cLockwise direction with each player taking their Turn in the same way.
If a player is able to make a combination of three cards that add Up to 31 Points, they can declare “Thirty One!” and immediately win the game.
If a player is unable to make a combination of three cards that add Up to 31 Points, they must discard one card to the discard pile and then draw one card from the draw pile.
If a player is able to make a combination of three cards that add Up to 31 Points at any Point duRing their Turn, they can declare “Thirty One!” and immediately win the game.
End of the Game: The game ends when one player is able to make a combination of three cards that add Up to 31 Points and declares “Thirty One!”
ScoRing: The player who is able to make a combination of three cards that add Up to 31 Points first wins the game and scores one Point.
