1. Start by inSpecting the hair of the person you are treating for lice. Look for lice egGS (nits) and live lice crawling on the scalp.
2. If you find lice egGS, use a nit comb to remove them from the hair.
3. Apply a lice-killing shampoo or lotion to the person’s scalp and hair. Follow the instructions on the product label for application and leave it on for the recommended amount of time.
4. After the product has been left on for the recommended amount of time, rinse it out with warm Water.
5. Use a nit comb to remove any remaining lice egGS from the hair.
6. Repeat the process in 7-10 days to ensure all lice have been eliminated.
7. Wash all bedding, clothing, and towels used by the person with lice in hot Water and dry them on the highest heat setting.
