How to play Fazenda?

Fazenda is a Brazilian card game that is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The game is usually played with four players, but can be played with two or three players as well.

Objective:

The objective of Fazenda is to be the first player to score 11 Points. Points are scored by collecting sets of cards and by winning Tricks.

SetUp:

Shuffle the deck and deal out all of the cards to the players. The player to the left of the dealer starts the game.

Gameplay:

The player to the left of the dealer leads the first trick. They can play any card from their hand. The other players must Follow suit if they can, otherwise they can play any card. The highest card of the suit led wins the trick. The player who wins the trick collects the cards and places them in a pile in front of them.

Points are scored as Follows:

- 4 of a kind: 5 Points
- 3 of a kind: 3 Points
- 2 of a kind: 1 Point

At the end of each trick, players can check their hand to see if they have any sets of cards that can be scored. If they do, they can declare them and score the Points.

The game ends when one player has scored 11 Points or more. The player with the most Points at the end of the game is the winner.
